Dear Parents,

            We are busy doing wrap-up activities.  The children will be bringing home the remainder of their reading and math workbooks.  These will be good review books for the summer.  The math workbook is their second volume.  The entire first math book and parts of the second volume have been taught.  If you choose to focus on any parts of the math book, I would suggest addition and subtraction to twenty. 

            The children will be bringing home their religion book.  There are family pages throughout the book.  These are a great resource for family prayer and discussion.

            Next Thursday, the children will bring home their purple folders. It will contain their report card and some suggestions for sight word reinforcement.  Please have your child bring their school bag to school every day next week.

            Hats off to the first grade readers at Wednesday’s Mass.  They did a super job!
